VISIT Milwaukee is proud to announce its partnership with Cream City Print Lounge & Bar on a collection of T-shirts and tote bags that celebrate the Brew City's love for beer and cheese. For every VISIT Milwaukee + Cream City Print Lounge collaboration T-Shirt or tote bag sold, 10% will be donated to the VISIT Milwaukee Foundation, a 501(c)(3). VISIT Milwaukee is reinvigorating this foundation so that it can fund scholarships and other initiatives that support and grow Milwaukee’s hospitality community.
"Much like cheese, giving back to the community is in VISIT Milwaukee's blood," said Peggy Williams-Smith, president and CEO of VISIT Milwaukee. "Cream City Print Lounge is also a community partner for which we have profound respect. That is why collaborating with their team to benefit our beloved hospitality industry was an easy decision."
Just as beer and cheese make the perfect combination, the T-shirts and tote bags are the perfect complement to the free Milwaukee Cheese Curd Pass which has given nearly 6,200 visitors and locals exclusive specials from over 20 area fried and fresh cheese curd purveyors. They also nod to the Brew City Beer Pass, which offers BOGO beers from nearly 30 breweries, and has been downloaded over 7,200 times. The design depicting a cheese curd riding a motorcycle is a nod to Harley-Davidson Museum’s Motor Bar and Restaurant — a pass participant.
Cream City Print Lounge became the only mobile T-shirt printing unit in the city when it opened in October 2019. Not only does it keep Milwaukeeans trendy, but it also unifies the city through fun activities such as T-shirt printing parties, T-shirt printing pop-up events, and through its partnerships with The United Way and Versiti. Rachaad Howard, owner and founder of Cream City Print Lounge, was named one of Milwaukee Business Journal's 40 under 40 in 2021.
